Strategic Loss

In Strategic Loss, the battlefield becomes a chessboard and human lives are reduced to calculated moves. A war-torn city lies beneath a floating grid of strategy — mechanical doves of peace caught in explosions, targeted like pieces in a game. Once symbols of hope, the doves now serve as pawns in a conflict driven by power and cold precision. This work critiques the dehumanization inherent in modern warfare, where civilian casualties are written off as “acceptable losses” — anticipated, rationalized, and ultimately ignored.
